beat a modded Civic Si from a 20-90mph. Then I got walked by a car length from a 70mph-115mph (gov) Here Civic does put down a very respectable 159whp though. And she's about 100 lbs lighter too.

 

at least ur honest lol but man, u should not be losing that much with a 240. a nice running basic tuned 240 runs 16.2 to 16.4 depending on the driver. i have no ac, no ps, test pipe and exhaust and i have beat some guys cause they simply cant launch and or shift well.

I was making a right turn onto a 2 laner n i saw a car coming. i made the turn anyway, cuz usually (on this street) i pick up alot of speed so the person i went in front of doesnt have to tap on the brakes. As i was going n picking up speed like hell, i noticed the car i went in front of was a Camaro. He switched lanes n was now cathing up in my blind spot. so i gunned it n he gunned it. he tried to cut me off, but there was an SUV in front in his lane. I ended up boxing him in. Then when i passed the SUV he slowed down n went behind, then switched lanes immediately after he passed the SUV. We were then side by side. Man, i felt like Paul Walker right there. HAHAHA. he attempted to pass me n cut me off, but i guess he either didnt go all out or he didnt pick up enuf speed to cut me. Then coems a 25 mph turn. i think he was @ 80 - 85mph n i know i was @ around 80. He slowed down like hell like 100 feet b4 the turn. I took it @ 70.

anyways, that was pretty stupid n fun. If we took it to the track, hands down the Camaro would win. If we took it to the mountains...

On my last setup (stock T25 with bolt-ons)

• Countless C5 'Vettes
  Most Memorable: Young guy (26ish) in Black convertible..Caught at a light next to him. Gives me a smirk after looking at my white rims..(as if I don't hate them already! ) We turn the corner and he stares at me..until second gear..I nod and he stomps on it..so do I. Pulled past him and kept going until I let off in fourth. Then I slowed down and he wouldn't come up next to me. He's lucky it wasn't from a stop!
• New Yellow Porsche Boxter S. Same situation as the Vette but on street tires. He went from a stop and I had to catch him off the launch b/c I was on 205 street tires...blew past him in 2nd. Then he went from a roll....demolished him.
• 1G/2G AWD DSM's.
• 2 LT1 Camaros: Outcome was almost the exact same for both of them. One runs 12.7 all motor and the other runs 12.8 w/150 shot. Main mods to both were drag radials, stalls, some kind of intake (whisper lid?), and gears. I pulled HARD off the launch and pulled in second....3rd they pull back REALLY HARD and didn't get to me until the 1/4 mark..I squeaked them by a fender...But they both squeaked me by a fender also...so I'm 1-1 with both camaros.
• Rb25 1992 240sx: Mods are 3" to a GT Spec (3.75"), 275 drag radials, clutch, b.o.v., boost controller, intake. Just got my car out from the winter/spring. It still had 90 octane w/ fuel stabilizer in it..(shouldn't have run, but couldn't resist) Boost at 12psi to avoid sputtering. 1st: Launched decent and held him off all the way through fourth where he put his front nose at my front fender. Second run I heated up the drag radials more and TORE him off the launch, ended up putting about 1 1/2 cars on him in the end. Never got to run with good gas...his turbo blew later.
• Rb20 1996 240sx: Mods: Intake, boost controller, full 3" exhaust, clutch. From a roll (his choice): 2nd gear roll, we 3 honked and I spun straight to redline (real ****ty street tires), feathered the gas and pulled by at beginning of third and kept pulling. 2nd run from a first gear roll. Same thing, spun hard in first, feathered the throttle and pulled past in second and kept going.
• Cobras modded and unmodded. No 03 cobras though...
• LS1 camaros and WS6's: some stock and some with light mods. i.e. exhaust and/or intake
• Turbo'd Miata that ran 13.01 at the track...Took him off the line and he never caught back up. Probably about 1 car.
• 2 WRX STI's. #1 is stock, kept beating him over and over. #2 has a full 3" exhaust. Stayed close off the launch and passed by second gear every time. I'm sure it'd be worse if I ran them from a roll.
• Countless WRX's and SRT-4's

First my mods (KA24de) unknown CHP, "EGR block off, Random technology cat, fidanza aluminum fly wheel, ripped out secondary butterfly's, 6 puck competition clutch, boo boo pacesetter cat back, stock header, 13 dollar ebay cotton gauze filter, asp pulley, nismo water temp sensor, disconnected aiv, and a set of performance cams, and 91 octane".
Waiting to install my APEXI SAFC until I get the APEX rev speed meter so I can do minor dyno tune myself.

all i did was kept clean oil in my car proper fuel, fresh wires and plugs and it drove very hard.
