changing fuel injector

changing fuel injector

one of my fuel injectors is bad so I bought a replacement. I'm having trouble with the installation. Can anyone help me? please give me some detailed instructions on how to replace bad injector.

vise grips and pb blaster are your friend

if not, remove fuel rail and push it out

make sure to depressurize the fuel line

and remember to use lube when you put it in so you dont rip the rubber

(the o rings are fragile)

i don't need to take the fuel rail off to replace the injector? Can I unscrew the clip holding the top of the injector and take off the harness and just pull it out?

yes thats how i changed mine. but if its really stuck and wont budge, youre gonna have to remove the rail.

still having trouble taking out the bad fuel injector. i tried just pulling it out of the socket but it won't. it just moves around. I tried taking the rail off but I don't think i'm doing it right. please help with DETAILED information please.
