Check Engine HELP! (EGR #32)

OK.... What is code #32, I have a list saying it's EGR System, but what is that?.... Emissions or something?

My question is how do I fix it, and why does my check engine light only come on sometimes because of it?

edit: is the O2 sensor part of the EGR System?.... my first thought was my o2 sensor might be going bad or something... Thanks to anyone who can help me

The EGR valve (Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve) controls the quantity of exhaust gas to be led to the intake manifold through vertical movement of the taper valve connected to the diaphragm, to which vacuum is applied in response to the throttle valve. The EGR valve is also regulated by the BTV valve.
And yes it is a part of your emissions.

Yeah I figured that out when I read all the links above^^^

I still need to know how to fix/replace it, or should I just take it to the dealership or something and have them look at it?

Well, I reset my ECU and the light is staying off for the moment...(crossing fingers)

Maybe this time it wont come back rearing its devil horns and annoying the hell out of me.... especially when it flashes (comes on and off as it pleases)

Anyway... Seems OK for now... THANKS
