1st question. Why would you let your car run out of oil?
How do you know you didnt blow your engine?
How did you "blow" a lifter? Is it collapsed or broken?
Is it intake or exhaust?
How is the car running, to say it the engine isnt blown?
We need some more info. Did you already perform inspections on the engine?
Running a car out of oil, will do more damage to an engine long before the lifters loose all their oil. It will start to tap...LOUDLY mind you, from excessive valve lash for a few days. By then the bearing are already starved of oil & have begun to score, if not already spin....ect,ect..
Before just replacing the lifter & thinking all is good. I would do some checking if I were you.

If all is good. I have a very good condition head if you really need it. I will let it go for pretty cheap.

EDIT.... if the lifter comes off the valve. There will be no piston damage. The valve will stay shut from spring pressure.
