Coolant leak

Yea, so I have one somewhere, and I'm pretty sure I know where its coming from. If your looking at the front of the car (91 240) at the radiator, the little bottle looking thing on the right side of the radiator, what is it? I can get pics if you need em, but not till tomorrow cause I'm bout to go off to work. Its spraying right around that area, and it has the white dried up marks from the coolant. On the bottle thingy there are 3(?) hoses coming out of it. Has like red yellow and blue dots on it I think. Anyways, I'm just trying to figure out what it is. Thanks...

There aren't any coolant lines on the driver's side of the radiator. If there's evidence of leaking coolant there, about the only place it can come from is the crimped seal between the header tank and the core.

After I center-punched an SUV on the freeway, my radiator developed exactly that kind of leak. Until the car got completely warmed up and the system pressurized, you'd never know the seam was toast, but it was.

No emissions rocks! Much cleaner engine bay, that raw fuel exhaust smell, and feeling like a bad *** becuase my state requires it, lol.

Ok, so the little coolant leak I had, was the radiator. Piece of **** it is....original radiator going on 129K miles lol....uh where the radiator cap goes, the little lip to cap uses to pressurize the system is worn off on 2 sides, so the cap wasnt sealing all the way. AND it looks like someone tried to patch the top of the radiator too....so I have to drop 114 on a new one, or I could just set it up for my KA-T project and get a koyo.....what do you think I should do? Just get it fixed with an OEM or get a koyo?

Koyo's good, but I'm really, really happy with my PWR. Not for the price-sensitive, though.
