Question Custom CF kit

anybody know anybody that makes custon carbon fiber kits?

i dont really think u would want a CF body kit...the slightest bump would probably crack it...

do it yerself!! easy.. if you know someone in the navy.. get them to jack a roll of carbon fiber.. buy some resin.. put saran wrap on a bumper you like.. roll the carbon fiber up onto the bumper.. pour on tha resin.. let it set in tha daytime.. BAM!! carbon fiber kit.. heh.. thats what i did with this front lip for mah hommie..

i thought a carbon fiber kit would be strong and light but expensive?

CF is very strong, and pretty light, but it is usually very brittle when in bumper form...it would be alright if it was reinforced...CF is usually not very flexible either...now granted, there most likely is a process that would make the CF more suited for a body kit application...but usually, your best bet is flexible fiberglass or urethane...

it depends on the quality of the materials and it depends on the company...as long as u stick with a good company, either will be ok...

no problem...

as a side note...generally urethane is more durable than fiberglass...but it is not always that way...for instance, www.jdmaero.com claims that their fiberglass kits are more flexible/durable than urethane...other ppl swear by urethane, i think that either way u are in good shape...as long as it is good quality...
