S motor? WTF are you talking about? The S in S13 and S14 designates the CHASSIS, as I specified above.
And, as far as the differences in the actual KA24DE engines, that is all mentioned above as well....

Anyways, that's just engines. Anyways, other than engines they're slightly diff. Some S14's are 5-lug. Cams on the S13's are diff as you jus read, but parts are pretty much interchangable on engines. Hope you learn something about the engines. Theyre not S engines. S is for the chassis, S12 for the old school 200SX, s13 for 240s 98-94 models, s14 for 95-98 I believe, and s15 for the newest ones, 99-up.

I know the "S" in s14 refurs to the chasse but you know what i mean the SR20det.

S13 designates a chassis, not an engine. The S13 is the USDM Nissan 240sx from 89-94. Now, there are 3 different engines.. A 140hp SOHC KA24E from 1989-1990. In 1991, they came with a 155hp, 160lb/ft of torque KA24DE. Now, the cams that everyone wants are the same from 1991 on into part of the production year of 1993. In 1995 they did change the engine slightly. They put a different head on it and tuned down the cams a bit. Also, they put a different alternator on it. Wouldn't it be sick if Nissan dealers brought out the s15 here in the states?!?!? I know it might have the ka24de engine but perhaps a custom turbo setup? I dunno about u guys but that would put a rise in my pants
