S motor? WTF are you talking about? The S in S13 and S14 designates the CHASSIS, as I specified above.
And, as far as the differences in the actual KA24DE engines, that is all mentioned above as well....

Ok, time to give a big old lecture on engines and Silvias. Ok, here goes. Dont flame me for being wrong in some areas, just correct me and I'll learn too.
USDM
89-90 KA24E (Pignose s13 coupe&fastback)
-2.4 L Single Overhead Cam
-140@5600rpm
-152@4400rpm
91-present (s13 coupe+fastback & s14) KA24DE
-2.4 L Dual Overhead Cam
-155hp@5.6k rpm
-160lb/ft@4400rpm
JDM (for the sake of simplicity, only turbo engines will be discussed)
89-90 CA18DET
-1.8 L
-173hp@6400rpm
-166lb/ft@4000rpm
180SX 91 up SR20DET Redtop
-2.0 L DOHC
-203hp@6000rpm
-202lb/ft@4000rpm
S14 SR20DET Blacktop
-2.0L DOHC
-217hp@6000rpm
-202lb/ft@4800rpm
S15 SR20DET
-2.0 L DOHC
-247hp@6400rpm
-202lb/ft@4800rpm
Anyways, that's just engines. Anyways, other than engines they're slightly diff. Some S14's are 5-lug. Cams on the S13's are diff as you jus read, but parts are pretty much interchangable on engines. Hope you learn something about the engines. Theyre not S engines. S is for the chassis, S12 for the old school 200SX, s13 for 240s 98-94 models, s14 for 95-98 I believe, and s15 for the newest ones, 99-up.

In 1991, they came with a 155hp, 160lb/ft of torque KA24DE. Now, the cams that everyone wants are the same from 1991 on into part of the production year of 1993. In 1995 they did change the engine slightly. They put a different head on it and tuned down the cams a bit. Also, they put a different alternator on it. In 1996, they changed some emissions equipment and made the engine OBD-II compliant. That means, they changed a lot of the sensors and MORE vacuum lines.
The engines from 91+ are all interchangeable with little-no modifications...
Any questions?

Dude, the cam question was answered on the first page. Read through the thread at least so that way questions aren't repeated and you aren't flamed for asking something that's already been answered.

Wouldn't it be sick if Nissan dealers brought out the s15 here in the states?!?!? I know it might have the ka24de engine but perhaps a custom turbo setup? I dunno about u guys but that would put a rise in my pants LOL!
