door wont close all the way?

Unhappy door wont close all the way?

yea, i just got my 240 anyways the driver side door wont close all the way it sticks out quarter of an inch and the light on the dash shows doors open?

how do i fix this?

is it easy?

or should i have my dads mechanic fix it?
-i wont have to pay for it btw

It's probably just the door spacer. It probably needs the alignment adjusted. Or it might be something wrong with the latch itself.

Spray some WD-40 in the latch.. it might ease the door in better? Not sure what else to really suggest.

did you push in the latch thing while the door was open? if you did just lock and unlock the door while its open then pull the handle while the doors open. if that doesnt work just take a look at it and see if you can fix it.

i know what problem you are having. im sorry i do not know how to fix it. it hasnt bothered me that much because the light on my dash doesnt come on. but the exact same door is doing the exact same thing as yours. ive always just said the hell with it.
