double crank noise?

double crank noise?

has anyone ever heard ur car double crank? when the can is one already and u try starting it again? i get the noise all the time and its the first time i start my car. i have to give it a couple good tries to get it running. can anyone tell me wat the problem is? and how i can fix it? thanx

???? I don't really understand what are u talking about! Anyway, u mean when u started engine, it still cranks? If so, it more likely is the ignition swtich!

when ever i try to start my car it tends to have a double crank.. the noise when you have ur car running and u try to start it again.???? that loud crack noise..?? am i makin anysense? its hard to explain.

you might want to pull out your starter, you might be missing some teeth from it. it is also very cheap to get ur starter checked. i don't think it could be anything with your ignition wiring. also, try to explain a little easier.

i talked to my dad and he said something might be wrong wit my flywheel....

Either it's the teeth on the starter are stripped, or the flywheel is stripped. Same thing happened to my car.

Like teeth on the starter or fly wheel are missing, broken off. One or the other probably will need to be replaced.
