ehh... nice thought but if some newb were to get seriously injured, they can sue the owner.

Welcome to the U.S.A. LOL

Etown has a road course that has been laying dorment for 2 years now. I got to drift on it in 2003 and I loved it.
where is that at?

maybe if you went to drag tracks or any kind of trak and represent the idea and suport it maybe write something up and get a pation

i mean they already have that kind of insurance and there always lookin for more money and all the traks iv seen have plenty of land

i think drifting is gettin really big with the new gto's in (america that is) and something like this is going to happin sooner or later...
look at the organizations against street raceing there doin so much to host tracks for import kids this could just be another branch for them to

just throwin some ideas out there...

So a drift "park" on an entire 2 acres....wow. Does anyone here know how big an acre is? It is about 210 x 210ft or about 44K sq ft.
2 acres ..just dbl it. That is roughly 6 houses( 6 residential lots) Regardless of EMT's, security, ect... Parking will take up the majority of space. Then you have the space from the parked cars to the track.
I mean just the space constraints, in it's self are a joke with that little of land.
Like what was also stated before.. You have to have so much parking, it has to be so far off the street, IN THE PROPER LOCATION, ect...

All I can say is good luck.

No different than here. You either park in the parking lot. Pay to get in & sit in the stands. Or pay to drift/race or whatever you want to do.
They have food, toilets, ect...just like here.
The track owners pay taxes, maintenence, ect.. just like here.

Why would you think it would be any different?

IMO I think we should drop the comparison to skate parks. Drifting and Skating are way different.

If you skate somewhere public and do a rail or a bench, it's called vandalism.

If you drift around a corner, you can get wreckless driving, speeding, public endangerment, exhibition of speed, etc.

Raine i didt mean it’s as dangerous or I wasn’t comparing them that way its just there in the same ballpark
It’s a fad that is destructive and because of that it needs special requirements to keep it off the streets

I don’t want to start anything im just trying to get my point across

Project Cheap13
I was just wondering because it looks like they have allot of these over there I guess just because it’s more developed and popular

So flame on…

relax homie.

BTW - in Japan, they look at cars in a different way. The Japanese culture is very deeply rooted in motorsports. Motorsports is part of everyone there. Just look how many real tracks they have all over the country. They have JGTC which is their equivelent (spellchecK) to Nascar minus the "hick" part (lol)... the Japanese embrace motorsports.

Unlike here, where if it's not Jeff Gordo then it's "stupid kids in their Import cars"
