Faulty fuel gauge??

Faulty fuel gauge??
My fuel gauge is all faulty...i drained my gas, then added in some new gas ( not enough for it to go to full ) and it is still at full...?? whats going on...any way to fix this?? i have no idea how much gas i have

don't really know how to fix that. That happened to me on one of my first car (a 93 Mercury Topaz baby) and all I did was reset the odometer and fill up every 250 to 300 miles. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
