Finally went to the track....1/4 mile

So I finally took my car to the drag strip, for the first time since having the SR swap done...

Stock blacktop S13 SR, Greddy R-SPL FMIC, AVC-R, stock t25 at 13.5 psi

On 245/40/17 Kumho Ectsa MX...

My best time was a 1.92 sec 60' and 13.538 sec 1/4 @ 100.8 mph

I am really happy with my 60', especially since my VLSD sucks and I just learned how to properly launch within the past 2 months....previously, my 60' times were like 2.6 hahahaha

So based upon how low my trap is, but my 60' is pretty good, does that mean that I start off well but run out of power?

Well I've heard that the max on a T25 at about 15 psi, properly tuned is like 250.

I am UNTUNED, probably running rich, and ran at 13.5 psi....so maybe 230 whp?

good stuff bro.. they have to HP calculators online.. they are not very acurrate but they can give you an idea of what you have

you just enter the cars weight and your 1/4 time and trap speed..

when i ran 13.7 i could not belive it.. my car was in such **** shape that day

Well....I'm not so much worried about the hp....I am wondering what type of "driving" this indicates...

I feel like a 13.5 and 1.92 60' but only a 101 trap means that I drove the car well, but lacked the power....

Can anyone confirm this?...I'm not super knowledgable on the relationship between trap speed, ET, and 60'

also, here are the timeslips:

yea it def seems your launch was really good and you just lack the top end power..a good amount of time ago I ran a 13.0 @ 110 with a 2.1 60ft lol..so yea id say ur 60ft. got you that 13.5..good run!

Whats with the reaction times? Over 2 seconds on each. First time on the track or were you just falling asleep at the light?

R/T is pointless anyway noob. Unless your bracket racing it doesnt matter if your R/T is .001 or 1 hour the ET doesnt start till you roll out of the stage box.

Hope you're not calling me a noob...

I wasn't trying to be a dick or anything. Some of us still practice out R/T's for competition (vet bracket racer here). Was seeing if he had a purpose which he did.

chill dude.

dont be coming around here calling people noobs.

especially when nobody has any idea who you are or of your automotive/racing accomplishments, if any, which you might think would justify you calling somebody a "noob".

Your remark wasn't very intellegent. I drag at infinion raceway, and yes reaction time does count. You also have to estimate your best time, that means your reaction time included. If I sat at the bar for 3 seconds that is 3 seconds added to my TOTAL TIME!!!!
