Racing wing!

But really, it sounds like you're on the right track. A CA or SR is probably a better bet than an RB if (as I suspect) this is going to be your first swap. If you're keeping your new motor stock for awhile there's no reason to wait until you've put thousands into your suspension setup to swap out the KA. Keep in mind that the Silvia/180 the motor comes out of had the same stock suspension you do.

If he's going to drift the last thing he needs to worry about is a motor swap.

You need to do a full mechanical run through, look for worn suspension bushings, leaks, ect.

After all that is sorted out find some local events you can attend, get to know other 240SX owners in your area...

First mods will more than likely be suspension/brake/clutch/lsd involved.

I've seen a lot of decent guys run motors with nothing more than intake/exhaust so don't beat yourself over the head trying to find out how to modify your motor.

yeah but who really ****ing replaces everything in their 240s when they drift?? Just go to the track, break **** and spend big $ to fix it hahaha

But yeah Megans C/O would be a good starting point and some better tires.

Coilovers, VLSD or HLSD, Junkyard tyres (for practice sake) and slowly decide whether you want to keep the KA or start saving for Motorswap.

Choose Wisely

Because it's harder to replace a car than it is to replace a faulty part. :P
