Question forum newbee, little help...

any help appreciated...
just purchased '92 240sx base model Coupe. i also own '96 240sx SE. wrecked the '96 and had to pick up the first available 240 i could find/afford. S14 was in immaculate shape when purchased in '03 so no repairs were needed. S13 is sound but, however needs some work (front end damage) and has 120k...
Need to know some usual maint. for S13's and some easy upgrades to keep it strong (until RB swap mid - late '06).
Interested in any S14, 300zx, R32 upgrades available, as well as "SE" upgrades, particularly from my '96 or other S13 se's. (who has a Digital Climate Control w/harness, sensors..?)

Also own an 2000 Altima GXE (the wife's). Immaculate cond. have any suggestions...?

thanks for the help.

ummm...i would say get a S13 front end since you need to replace some of the front end anyways, and it looks beautiful on a coupe...you already have a good engine, the KA24DE...i would just concentrate on footwork and maybe a cat back since you dont want to be wasting money on a engine your gonna swap out anyways. as for the foot work get some nice wheels and tires (read the Brakes/Wheels/Tires/Suspension section) as well as a set of coilovers, strut bars, RUCAs, whatever you feel you need for whatever you do. As for your engine there a few inexpensive mods such as putting a exhast cam on the intake side and EGR block off, both will hurt your gas efficiency but im sure your aware that more power = bad milage, a good 3" catback might be a good idea because you can use this with the RB.

what exactly is the question? If your asking us to tell you what to do to your car, research and try to do that yourself. Decide what YOU want, not what we tell you to get

thanks and yeah, i'll look into that. i've got a good mechanic in town that works almost exclusively with 240's, he's a big help. and i've decided to do the silvia front clip before painting.
and no, not asking "what should i do with it?" just know there's alot of guys with s13's who've come across some good ideas and had their share of problems. its 15yrs. old, and would be good to know what to start thinking of replacing 1st opposed to later on. budget.
and for everyone besides that guy... i've got plenty of s14 parts for those interested. 96' 240sx SE - Ultra Red (factory paint).
Let me know.
