Fuel Guage Pegged at Full

Just wanted to ask a question before I start diagnosing.

Looked at the fuel gauge last evening and it was pegged at F. There is at most 1/2 a tank in the car. Has anyone ever had this type of issue? All other indicators are working fine.

Thanks for the time.

my god.... you must got the special edition fueless 240... AWESome..

jk

best thing you can do is take it apart and see if you can set it back.... upon hooking it back up and turning the Key to the on postion, you should see the level rise.. if it does indeed rise and goes back to the Full position, your gauge may be faulty, it happens man.

It could be that the sending unit in the tank is stuck and or bad too.
