ka24e tranny on a ka24de?

umm so is that a yes? i dont see any discrepancies in the thread..
i just thought the 90 tranny is obd1 and the de is obd2 and it wouldnt work..
can i get some words out of you instead of a link plz?

89-95.5 are obd I, 96-08 up are obd II while some 96 and up are can compliant. 08-up will be can.
so sohc or dohc is really not the issue, the trannys can be swapped between the obd I and II. you will however need the prober sending unit for the speedo to read accurately. although idk whick one you'll need.
