19x8.5 dubs, 245/25R19 Pirelli tires. that is all. w3rd

next plans are megan coils(next week), b&m, spl bucket, nardi wheel.

future plans are an n/a build. im kinda leanin towards n/a sr or n/a ca. as cool as n/a ka would be im not sure if its worth the money. I see a ca or sr making better numbers with the same amount of money invested. n/a ka is more of a dream. i need somewhat of a reliable n/a motor. Then its 5 lug and wheels, i dunno what yet but something balla, lol. then more suspension mods. and of course aero, mabey silvia front end.

This is pretty easy since I have a semi-list done.
1-paint (2weeks) 2-dmv/pay inspection 3-install rear arms/lsd 4-waterpump,front/rear main seals 5-install fresher ka trans. All that done by end of May.
Summer time. steering wheel/hub, gauges, KA-T setup.

n/a CA? like taking the ca18det and turning it n/a? or the n/a ca20e from an s12 200sx, ill tell you here and now that the ca20e is a POS i believe if you want a decent n/a CA, theres a lot of frankensteining involved. good example would be ca20DE

a N/A ca would be soo pimp. that would be very original. take a CADET and lose the turbo... wow. that would be unique. i wonder what some of the numbers you could get out of that.. i would actually stick with the KA tho, because of displacement. best guess is you wont get decent numbers out of the CA unless you run a stroker kit or something like that, some major internal building... wich would cost money... me, i just plan on running decent exhaust, intake, do some free mods, and then eventually get head work done on a new KA, and new internals too. i just wouldnt want to give up the displacement of the KA if i were to go NA.

yea im aware of the ca20e being a POS, haha. i was thinking about n/a ca18de. but ill look into the ca20de also since you mentioned it.. but then again i was thinking again about n/a ka again. haha i cant make up my mind.

from what i know a motor with less of a stroke can achieve better n/a power. higher revs and whatnot. thats why not many ppl build n/a ka due to its long stroke. i see an n/a ca or sr making more power with the same amount of money invested into an n/a ka. just not as much torque. the only ppl ive seen with decent n/a ka's are actual race teams who have invested like 30k or something into there motors and they last like 2 events if that.

so why dont you just get a B16 or something? High reving, small displacement, no-torque-engines are for hondas, not 240sx's.

explain to me who said no-torque-engines are for hondas.

KA stroke is 96 mil, SR stroke is 86mil, and CA stroke is 84 mil. sure ka has the longest stroke but we're talking about milimeters here. im willing to give up 10 or so mils of stroke to have 10k revs. ntm lots of nissans motors arent torquey. For example the rb26 has a stroke of 73 mils of something like that. most nissan motors are oversquare motors which basically = no torque. you need to ****ing research before you talk trash. we drive imports not domestics, we dont have ****ing torque.

i like torque.. and you must admit driving a stock honda civic then jumping in a 240 with a ka is a much better feeling. it justs seems like in the civic the motor just makes a lotta noise and doesnt really go anywhere..idk thats how i decided on buying my first 240...well sorta but neways irrelevant.

my future plans are:
get another 240
ka-t or rb25
coilovers
wheels
ball

Future plans usually never happen, you grow with the car.

Also everyone should be focusing on suspension first

My future plans are to beef up the suspension a little bit more, get a 3 inch exhaust, preferably something quiet(ExMag?), carbon fiber hood...some HID's maybe? I don't know, I'm almost done, really. Haha. I just need loads of tires for the track. Lol.
