About 4 months ago I noticed I had a gas leak coming from the gas tank I take it to the shop and they find a crack about 3in long so that sucks. So I replace it it with one from junk yard that had a similar crack so I tried to repair it but it didn't hold. Now I'm looking for a new gas tank I can get one from the dealership but that's $400. I was wondering if anyone knew any place else that sold new ones besides the dealership.

Search the for sale section for cars being parted out. I'm positive that there is either one on here or ********.com that has it actually listed. 1oo dollars IIRC.

 

...or try your luck with another salvage yard tank

 

is it a metal tank or plastic?

or get a plastic Fuelcell and adapt it
