Well i stopped back in today after school to look at the car and see if the note i left was still there. And it wasn't, so the owner doesn't want to sell it, hasn't called me yet, or somehow the note disappeared.
So I'm back to square ****** one again.

I think it was on one of the other forums, I can't rememer which one, but there was an abandoned 240 in an apartment parking lot and somebody got it titled in their name as an abandoned car.

 

I wouldn't get my hopes up on it though. It would just probably bring you problems. I would say keep on searching.

Man, it was like a year ago but I wanna say it was in Arizona. I'll see if I can find it.

 

oh, dont worry about it then. i doubt this car was sitting for a year. and i'm in vermont so i dont think its the same one.

get the VIN number and talk to the DMV about:

A seemingly abandoned vehicle which you would like to either:

buy from the owner (request info on it)
get a title for (see if this is possible)

the note may have disappeared for any reason, maybe kids were fooling around, somebody snooping around, perhaps a homeless dude used it as toilet paper.

dont give up yet.

talk to the DMV and Police about your options.

Yea, thanks guys. If i can't get this one, (which it doesn't look like i will be) im just gonna sell my BMW and get a 1995 or newer in the spring and start from there. So if anyones interested in a 1995 BMW 525i let me know!
