well i spent 800 dollars on a manifold i had for 2 days and has been sitting at peak boost for 2 weeks now the hpc coating place hasn't finished it yet and i was told a week this is B.S. i can hardly get through on the phone and left another message today to just get it back from the coaters and send it as the owner of the house is threating to have my car towed off .I was told this wednesday and still nothing . i should have had them just weld it and send it out .or had it welded here screw the life time warrnty what good is it if you can even use the manifold or get it back in a decent amount of time .(FRUSTRATED NEED TO VENT )

for that price i would have made my own. that way i'd be sure of the quality, which isn't always great but at least i know ahead of time.

 

all welds were fine except the center collector had gotten some steel wool in it and need one weld (by a tig ) put in it and they were comping me my shipping and ii asked then hey can you ceramic coat it instead , and ken said yeah it should be back next Wednesday (last week ) and this Monday i called and he said Wednesday i tried calling and i cant get through .so im going on the phone rampage again today. And i was supposed to get a hardware kit to that their supposed to send . If i would have known i would have told him to just ship it back . I still have to mock up my hot side and get it welded just for the ic piping to be done .

 

well it finally gets shipped today ceramic coated and all and kern at peak boost is sending a t-shirt as soon as they com in . i knw it wasnt all his fault but it helped to vent . now to await my hot azz mani .

payed $600 for my tomei

imo for $800 i woulda payed the extra $100 and got a Fullrace manifold they have the best quality and liftime warranty on it

 

$800 is a lot for a mani, but at least you are finally getting it back now
