Good prices for tune up stuffs?
Good prices for tune up stuffs?
Since I drive el carro hard a lot, I figure it's time to do the following:
- new belts
- get rid of the timing chain rattle finally
The belts on the car were there when I bought ti (last September) but I have no idea how long they've been there. The timing chain fix is one of those things I put off for awhile now (but damn that rattling is annoying). So for those who know (or care LOL) do these prices look good to you:
Timing Chain Tensioner - Upper $57.48
Front Cover Oil Seal $3.93
Upper Timing Chain $31.87
Main Drive Belt $9.48
A/C Drive Belt $11.22
P/S Drive Belt $9.20
Shipping: UPS Ground: $9.12
Sales Tax: $0.00
Total: $132.30
(from Courtesy Nissan)
Also, I'm wondering if I should really get the new upper timing chain or not... I've searched around (here, Zilvia, Internet) and I have read mixed opinions... some said get it, some say it's never a "replaced item".
My engine by the way has about 175k or so, but still runs pretty damn good.
