OKEY, IVE GOT A BIG PROBLEM WITH MY SR20. i PULLED THE MOTOR FORWARD A BIT TO GET TO THE HEATER HOSES THAT HIDE BEHIND THE BLOCK. NO PROB RIGHT, SO I THOUGHT... AFTER GETTING THE MOTOR BACK IN AND TRY TO RUN THE CAR, ALL I GOT THE MOTOR TURNING BUT NOT FIRING. SO I CHECK ALL THE HARNESSES AND THE SPARK PLUS. ALL OK, NEXTI CHECK THE FUEL I WASN'T GETTING ANY FUEL. i THOUHT THAT IT WAS THE FUEL PUMP BUT NO I COULD RUN DIRECT POWER TO THE PUMP AND IT WOULD PUMP BUT IT WOULDN'T PUMPIF I TRIED TO POWER IT FROM THE IGNITION. i THEN CALLED NISSAN AND THEY SIAD THAT IT MUST BE A ECU PROBLEM CAUSE THEIR IS NO RELAY THAT COTROLS THE PACKS AND THE PUMP. NEITHER OF THEM ARE WORKING. HAS ANYONE HAD THIS PROBLEM AND IS IT THE ECU? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

First,............ Calm down! Wow, you have had a ruff day. You said you pulled the motor forward right? How forward and with what did you use? Oh, and when you put it back, were you gentle? Let us know whats going on. Sounds like a good problem to solve.

 

Ok, 1st i pulled the motor out about 6inches to get the new hoses. but when i went to put the motor back in the mounts didn't line up. so i then pulled the motor half way out and tried to line it back up and put the motor back in, but it still didn't line up. next i had to get some muscels to help push and use a crow bar to get the mount bolts back in the holes to bolt the motor down. that was the most ca-motion that the motor got. I pulled the motor with a cherry picker and load leveler. please help!!!!!!!!

 

check all harness plugs in the engine bay, maybe you crushed one or one got disconnected

 

I got a new ecu 2day and put it in, cranked right up but bogged down and then died. it still had the old mafs on it. switch that out for the z32 mafs and the car just turns agian. i go down by the ecu and smell that it is burned agian. i hooked the z32 up the exact way my friend has his hooked up with a wolfe ecu and his works just fine, but could the mafs burn a ecu up off of just cranking it. Now I am Madd a Hell........ I need to know if it can becuase i just found out that not so wiring services use different color wiring when doing the harnest over? Or could it be that their is a pintch somwhere in my wiring? please help??????????????.......
