got my engine in today and ran

really bad. well for one i have a 92 fast back. the old engine broke like 5 months ago due to i guess alot of miles 270,xxx miles. and im not the first owner. well i got my 98 ka in it. this engine has less then 100k miles. wat i did was, kept my intake manifold and distrabuter. i did everything myself along with the help of my girlfriend. i know everything is in the right place. i got rid of the egr stuff and blocked everything off. i got rid of the charcoal canister and blocked everything related to that as well. so i did an oil change and collent change. and today i finaly had time to try and start it. well it took a couple of tries. but when it started the engine was bogging, then reves all the way to 6000rpm then it goes down slowly to about a 1000 then dies. i know the timeing is right i fallowed the write up from ka-t.org. the spark plugs and wires are all new. im just wondering wat the problem is. but thanks in advance. sorry if its hard to fallow.
