got my silvia conversion, somewhat

I got my silvia conversion, I got the hood, halo projector lights with fogs, bumper and bumper support, the center silvia grille, and the side lights.

I still need to find a pair of good side fenders, oem or aftermarket.

and

the headlight brackets, (good luck with this one!!!)

anyone know where I can get the headlight brackets at, or a how-to guide on making my own brackets?

also the side fenders.

Phase2 has the headlight brackets listed on their site, might wanna give them a call. I believe Jspec has them too, not 100% sure though.

thanks again man.

I'm now looking for the wiring diagram to hook up my 2 light projector lights and fogs.

I going to hook the fogs to a switch though, so that won't be too hard to do!

Headlight brackets can be purchased on ebay for 50 bucks. If you have a AC line in the front, you may need to bend a headlight bracket to get it to fit. Don't worry, bending one won't do any harm...unless you change the entire shape completely....

If you cut and or spice any wires to "wire" up your headlights, I will laugh at you.

They are plug and play, no wiring diagram needed. Use the original plug that was plugged into the popup headlight.

Fog light is a H3 bulb. Foglight kits found at any autostore (Kragen, Pepboys, Autozone) use H3 bulbs in them. Thus buy a kit, use the harness and switch, and just simply plug into your fogs instead of using the fogs that come with the kit. Follow instructions to install.

For future reference. The projectors use H3C bulbs, Asia only type bulbs, try ordering online, Raybrig makes them I beleive PIAA too. Your fogs use H3, you can get those here.

Some FDAQs (Frequent Dumb *** Questions) People Have Asked Me:

Why won't my headlights light up after I plug them in?
Check the bulbs. Used headlights don't always have bulbs in them or they have dead bulbs in them.

Is it really plug and play?
Yes. If you don't believe me, go ahead and splice everydam wire.

How come my headlights won't stay mounted?
Did you get headlight brackets? Check that.

If I change from projectors to the halogen brick type headlights do I need to splice anything?
No dumbass, it's plug and play.

sorry to bring my old thread back, but having a few little problems.

I got everything installed, the HL Brackets, bumper, and fenders.

but my HL's do not want to go into place. you know on the side of the lights where the hl is supposed to go into the hole, then you are able to put the screws in?

My tab is about 1/8-1/4" above the hole and doesn't want to go in.

Do I have to put the HL brackets on the headlights first then install as a whole or what?

and my corner lights, and bumper lights, I can't figure out where to plug/wire them up at.

how do I wire my hl's to where when my high beams are on, my low beams are on at the same time?

Right now, when I have my high beam on, my lows are off, and they are the same intensity, f or the lows and highs!

Pictures of problem:...

Brackets on first, they should fit directly if you're using all the stock holes. If alignment is weird, your car might have been in an accident thus nothing is aligning right.

Why do you want to have both high and low on? There is a reason why they are separate, and I do believe it is illegal to have your highs on normally and other drivers wont like you as well. A lot of cars do the same thing as well.

And for future reference, take clear pictures....

I turn my highs off when I see a car.

my lows will be on normally.

I seen somewhere on this forum, where you can wire up the highs and lows, to get a better high!

my camera sucks taking pictures at night. I work all day, so I never get to take pictures during the day! Also I had to modify the pictures from 2mb+ to under 200kb!

I'm using stock holes.

Car has not been in a wreck!

i wouldnt suggest having both high's and low's on at the same time. besides that would be way to aggravating to do.just turn on your fog lights with the high it makes a nice difference.

yeah, i'm not doing that anymore.

I got the conversion finished, Finally, after over 1 month of work. (Long Story)

but, while driving tonight, my high beams turned off for some reason? But my lows still work!

I still have to wire the fogs up.

To make things clear for me.

The light bulbs are...

Lows --- H1
Highs --- H3
Fogs --- H3C

thanks for the help everyone!

I'll get a picture up as soon as I can!
