Greddy Intercooler install help?

im trying to install my newly acquired Greddy Intercooler setup. the core dimensions are 34" longx11"tallx3"wide. i was trying to slide it up into my bumper and there is not enough room due to part of the bumper being in the way. i was curious as to what the best way is to cut this section out or bend it out of the way. this Greddy kit is used and supposed to be a direct setup for an s14. i have a 95' 240sx. here are some pics with the little lip that is in the way highlighted.

any help would be great!

thanks...

you are going to have to install it in front of the radiator support brackets/ac condensor. it isn't going to fit where you want it to no matter what. :/ plus the piping is made to go further forward. you will have to remove the metal bumper or heavily modify it, and basically mount the intercooler there.

have you seen how that brace goes into your frame).......... that **** is honestly worthless and breaks away very easily... anything beyond 20 mph will push that that all the way back anyway so your kinda screwed anyway.. i crashed head on into a K-wall one night while drifting. it was pushed back, i had to drill the bolt out and install my own nut and bolt.

a frontal crash in any 240 = the car is totalled, so i figure it really doesnt help much. 240s tend to go underneath whatever they hit
