Talking Guess What!!!

I GOT A 240!!! Its a 92 SE, Manual, Misty Blue Metallic. Not in perfect condition but can't complain for 1750. It runs and only has 137,500 miles on it. It needs a little body work but nothing I can't handle. The back quarter panel is dented but the paint is still there so there is no rust and needs a little detailing. I am just happy to have the car. I took pics but it was dark so you can't really see it but what the hell. I am excited. And of course it is suppose to snow tomorrow. Go figure. Oh well still got my civic for that.

I am just waiting for the title to the civic. It should be here in a week or two and then it goes in the paper. But no SR20 for me

Very nice. I am not to familiar with the colors and was expecting something like a M3 blue but the car will look great when clean.

Why no sr20 Kaos? Are you just going to commute in it. I said that i would never race, but when you are in a 240 it just feels right.

The way I see it I rather have a turboed 2.4 liter over a turbo 2.0 liter. However I am going for a little skyline power in my baby. RB25 for me

No replacement for displacement.

Funny how KA's aren't capable of more power than SR's though.

are you sure on that?
at very high boost, the SRs cylinder walls will flex b/c its aluminum, where the iron walls of the KA will not

plus, there is no replacement for displacement

i'm interested in hearing your logic. with new internals, how could the SR keep up?

The SR does not have aluminum cylinder walls. It has steel alloy sleeves.

There is a replacement for displacement. It's called design. The SR was built from nissan to be a performance engine where as the ka was not. The ka can make damn good numbers, close to the sr, but I've never seen a highly tuned ka more powerful than the highly tuned sr's. All the factors like head design, flow caracteristics, bore, stroke, connecting rod ratio.... are all different between the engines. The SR's better design gives it higher numbers, and the ka can only somewhat keep up because of displacement.
