ok, so heres my problem.
when i push my headlight button to pop the lights up either 2 things will happen..

1) both headlights pop up but only the left one stays up, the right immediately goes back down.
2) one will pop up and the other one wont.

then once the light is up i cannot get it to retract by pressing the switch again.

but i can manually put the headlight up/down with the turn **** on the motor

and if i manually put the lights up and press the retract button one will go down but the other wont, then i cant get it back up without manually turning it

the wires connected to the switch look fine so the previous owner didnt try to do the sleepy eye mod.

any help?

 

try cleaning off the arm that pushes the headlight up mine was sticking, sounds like what happened to mine

 

im gonna try that first thing tomorrow
