Red face How to install front and rear strut bars?

Seems like an easy procedure but I just want to make sure. I purchaced a Juran front and Cusco rear. Front looks easy enough, 3 bolts on each strut tower come off and the bar goes on and then re-tighten, right? Rear looks tricky. What plastic do I have to remove to have access to the mounting points? Thanks for the insight guys.

Thats pretty much the basic idea for the front, I just put one on my car the other day. I don't have one for the rear yet, but on the hatchback there is a little plastic panel that pops off on each side, I don't know if you would have to take off more though because the holes look kinda small. I'm not to sure abou the coupe rears though

My CRX had those panels in the back but the coupe does not. I think I need to either remove the entire rear plastic (which isn't that big a deal) or cut some holes. I think I'll just remove it.

You will need to remove the whole plastic lining on the sides, make sure not to lose the little plastic things that pop off(they hold the plastic cover)There is only one screw holding the cover and its on the bottom screwed to the trunk, other than that you only have to remove the rubber covers on top of the struts. You will have to cut the plastic lining too..

I think the ease of installing strut bars depends on what kind you have. If you have the adjustable Pilot ones as seen on Phase2Motortrend.com, its a lot easier because you can install by parts.

I have a fastback and I installed my rear Pilot strut bar with ease without taking apart the rear panels, only the little carpet panel cap. It was a lot more difficult than I thought at first becase I tried to install it all at once, but once I broke it down, it was a cinch.

You have to be mechanically retarded if you can't install the front one.

Front bolts = 14mm (3 on each side), rear bolts = 12mm (2 on each side) i believe.
