How to jack up the front?
Sorry if this sounds like such a noob question.
But i recently started to work on my car and have lowered it quite considereably. I bought the chilton manual and it doesn't say much on where to place the jack on the front of a 95 240 to raise the entire front.
I was thinking the front cross member but the manual says never to jack on a suspension member (same thing?). I know in the back its the diff so how would i jack it up? Or is it just one side at a time type of deal.

it means don't jack it up on the control arms or braces, the crossmember is ok. there's a page in the front of the FSM that shows the jack points, either at the wields on the sides of the body (if you use the scisor jack that's made for that) or the diff or crossmember.
they also make lowered car ramps, that pick the car up only an inch or 2, and alow you to get a jack under it, cuz i know since i dropped mine that i havent been able to get a jack to the crossmember. (there's also low-profile jacks).
p.s. NEVER jack up a 240 on the rad mount!
