Plan to get a 240sx and swap in either the s13 or 14 sr20det motor in it. Just want to know how many miles per gallon are you guys getting with the swap. Stock or fully built sr20det.

 

IT alllll depends bro.. every s13 and s14 are in different shape.. if you keep you ignition system good and have everything else working fine.. you will have better millage.

performance and gas millage don't mix. when you boost etc gas goes away

also tires, wind drag etc effects all of this.. to broad to answer bro.. i just keep about a half tank in my car at all time so that i don't burn out my fuel pump.. i personally don't like full tanks of gas.

 

about 9 on s13 redtop...but it has lots of work done to it.

good gas mileage means stock car...horse power/boost means bye bye gas mileage

 

s13 redtop w/ 550cc injectors and a lot of other crap gets me 30-32mpg on the highway, i duno about around the city i dont pay attention

 

How fast are you going on the freeway?

 

its not about fast... the object is to stay in vacuum... and out of boost.

 

80-85mph

 

i can cruze at 75mph at about 3200 rpms.. tq is nice

 

i can cruize at about 80 at 3000 rpms...but gas mileage sucks munkey *****
