how much?

How much do you guys think a '93 with 118,000 miles, a blown head gasket, and "good clean body and paint" would be worth.

The owner is asking for $1500.

Thanks in advance.

it's a shell, a shell is worth 500-1K at the most. How can he sell a car with a bad hg for 1500?

Unless you can fix the HG not worth it, 1K cash at the most.

Dr.

I can probably fix the HG myself.
The biggest issue will probably be that it's about a 6-hour drive (360mi@avg60mph) from where I am. Not to mention it's an automatic, and frankly I'm tired of automatics. They're only good for dragging, bread-winning, and grocery-getting.

I don't intend on drifting (intentionally). I just want a fun car.

Devnul, I would definitly say $1500 is a little too much for a shell. Especially considering that the car is not only 300 miles away(shipping/towing will play a big factor) but it is also a auto. What are your intentions with the car? Build up a KA or go the SR route? I think the SR route would be a bit more economical in this case because you can get a front clip thats a manual, and while your swappin' motors you could also swap tranny types too. If your just looking for a fun car, why not keep on searching(saving at the same time too) and get one that runs, so that way you dont have a $1500 pile of metal sitting in the driveway. Wouldnt you rather have a $1500 pile of metal that you can drive around??? Just my 2cents
