how to repair rip and rusted carpet?

how to repair rip and rusted carpet?

how would i go about fixing this?
the carpet is ripped and its rusting a little... this is on the driver side

well, considering carpet cant rust, the floorboards are prob rusting... i'm not sure how you would repair the actual fabric, but make sure the rust in the floor is fixed, or can be grinded off... you could allways get some of those sweet diamond plate floor plates

carpet rust? haha

fix your rust, and get an aftermarket carpet and cut it into place

Make sure to get the JDM carpet though, they had some sweet threading in those 180sx's overseas.

i never said the carpet itself is rusting.. i guess it might have came out wrong, but i know carpet cant rust... srry

if you go with nsn240's idea of the diamond plate foor plates make sure you dont blow your intake manifold during stage 3 nos and have your passenger side floor drop out.
