My only gripe with the S2000 is the torque numbers it puts out...

Hey it's a HONDA.... The torque numbers will always be small.... I don't think honda has ever built a stroker crank for any of there 4 banger engines, wonder why??????
I'm just surprised that the F20/22's pass smog with such a high CR, 11.3:1 that is rediculous, not one Nissan engine I have ever seen with a CR rating that high has ever passed smog on 91 octane.......

ok, well say you had 6K to spend on either the F20 or a SR20det (for the sake of arguement let's pretend it's already been put in the S2000), can the F20 match the SR in output?

No, the SR makes more torque with a bolted on turbo. For the sake of not argueing.

I suppose their are various aspects or different perspectives, different tuning philosphies that you could add to this discussion, but your answer is more along the lines of my original thinking...
