Im preping my car to paint and i got to the center tail light. I want to take it off. I have the two bolts off on the sides of the light and thats it. The black plastic peice around the light comes loose everywhere except for the very middle of it on the lower part and the light assembly wont come out. I looked everywhere and i cant find out why its still hooked on there. Anyone know what i need to do to get it off? I have a hatch

there is atleast two to three more bolts if you look closely under the key lock.

sry i wasnt clear. i was talking about the 3rd light thats on the hatch itself, not the one between the tail lights

just push it out.

use a heat gun and it will come right out, the sealant is heat activated
