As you guys know I got hit by a drunk driver and my SE's gone. I bought a base model rolling shell for 800 and I'm swapping everything over. However I like the look of the sunroof.

My question is, is there any structural support in the SE's roof or did they just cut a hole and put in the sun roof?
How much would it be to put the sun roof in? I have all the parts necessary from my other 240.

Do you have a fastback with a popup or a coupe with the power sliding?

 

Fastback, the sun roof just pops up.

 

IIRC the only thing they did besides cutting a hole in the roof, was spot weld nut tabs onto the roof for the hinge bolts. Other than that nothing special.
