You really aren't gonna get a true S15 over here, as they were only produced in Japan, and if you somehow can, it's gonna cost you a crapload.

S14s are pretty available and you can expect to pick up a Zenki in good condition for a few thousand (3500-5000) bucks, obviously mileage is a factor.

Koukis much harder to find, but basically the exact same car but with sideskirts, slightly different taillights and a sexier set of front headlights

i beg to differ.

haha. i have an S14 zenki and like its appearance more than the kouki. i guess its a matter of personal taste and preference. make sure you check out several sites and look at different versions, and if you plan to tune it(i.e. body kit or exhaust, engine, etc.) then definitely look at tuning sites (sport compact only is a good one that i refer to often) to see the range of parts for either.

another thing to think about is the particular year. Nissan has this thing, at least that has been apparent on both of my cars i've owned (silvia and maxima). They like to produce a car, and change it slightly the next year, then produce that same gen model in a completely different front fascia. Now i dont know if this is the same with the kouki's, but zenki's are like this.
the options are a wee bit strewed, like the actual axle (stupid Nissan) and a 6MT in the 96 as opposed to the 95 5MT.

just my $.02

by the way, great thread. i know this is mostly useful for the newbie crowd, but some enthusiasts could use this too

By the way Zenki is what the 95-96 model years were called

and Kouki is what the 97-98 was called.

And thats wrong. The 240sx, or all S13s and S14s for that matter, never came with a 6 speed.
