Jacks inquiry

Anyone have any idea how to jack up a lowered car? Ever since I lowered mines (1.5") its been a pain in the *** since the basic hand jack I got at Kragen is too high. Currently I place 3 2x4s and drive my car on top of that before I start raising it. Anyone who has a lowered car and could offer any positive inputs (perhaps a special kind of "low" jack?) would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Had the same problem. kregans sells a low profile aluminum racing jack that will fit under the car and it only takes 4 pumps to get the car tall enough to get jack stands under it. the jack sells for about $160 with tax
