he doesn'y have to say crap about the use. it's documented on the website that the motor is meant for off road use in the states anyway and part of the purchase is agreeing to that. you don't have to say crap about the motor.

 

Dam. One of the first places I looked when I was searchign for info to do my swap was them. their website looks profesional and they look complete with links and such. I asked them about other things and they responded me back with helpful info and very kind. I tought they were a nice company. Maybe they R A**holes. With all those pics and the facts and everythign they should have said here: new engine. They should check their engines for metal shavings and such things that are as easy as to take the oil bolt of and such. Maybe they just think your wining about stuff and trying to please you with useless stuff. Take legal action tell them you allready have a case and all that maybe they'll get scared and give you a new one. good luck.

 

Why would he want a running engine from them. Based on ethical business issues I wouldn't give them the time of day to give them my money. I would rather ship the shiat back and deal with another company.
Hell after a nightmare like that I would forge internal the ka and boost the shiat out of it, and say FU%K used JDM's.

Almost like Forest GUMP: life is like a used engine you never know what your gonna get....LOL

If you want an engine that is built right you need to build it yurself...LOL

1st, it's an S14 engine they sent.
2nd, both heads are shot, one is cracked and the other has metal run through it
3rd, a running engine with all accessories was purchased, not a mix and mach pile of parts

I dont even know what stuff would even bolt together off the s13 block.

not to mention metal went through the turbo from the thrashed bearings on the old block + the fact that this new block had a spark plug covered in oil on cylinder #4 and i know that they didn't check the cylinder because the plugs were torqued down way hard.



i'll post updates later on, i'm in the process of posting this on every nissan forum i can find, and i think im going to post it on honda/mitsu/toyota forums as well.. every make that this company imports for.

 

this is ridiculous, you need to take legal action or do something and atleast get your money back

 

WOW! well, i hate to tell you but i went through something like this my self when buying my s13 red top.

this is my opinoin on what you need/should do...

let this guy know that you arent a mechanic and you are NOT repsonsible for swapping these parts. if you need to take it to a certified nissan mechanic then HE needs to pay for the labor involved in swapping these parts.
regardless is s13 redtop and black top parts are interchangable, he needs to send you the s13 REDTOP PARTS because thats what you paid for- having black top parts will only make it harder for you to do upgrades that you want in the future.

the company that i delt with was a piece of sh*t. i had to call them every single day(not joking) for 3 weeks. finally when i got everything i needed, the guy that i was dealing with said he was quitting such a sh*tty company and moving back to new york!

like i said before this is my opinoin on what you need/should do. dont let this company walk all over you and say they will make it right. THE NEVER WILL!!!


***almost forgot - tell them you are sending back everything they sent you at their expence and they are shipping you a new COMPLETE s13 redtop engine or you will call the Better Business Bureau to file a complaint of false advertising and misrepresentation of product! that was the last thing that i needed to say to the company i delt with and everything was handled from there on out
