$700 sounds reasonable. There should be plenty out there with everyone doing swaps.
You might want to contact a performance shop. They usually keep the stock engines and sell them for dirt cheap. They need the room and need to get the parts out of the way.
I have seen honda D series engine blocks with trannys for $200.
