Correct me if I'm wrong, but nitrous doesn't actually burn, but brings in more oxygen to be burnt right?

i think that's what you were trying to say...

Nope it's easy to understand.....
1 part nitrogen doesn't burn at all in the combustion chamber....
2 parts of "compressed" o2 does, that is what can fry your head or rings.........
It's simple chemistry........
Medical NOS burns brain cells and makes you hallucinate....LOL
You will smell nitrogen in it's purity through the back of the exhaust, it isn't used at "all" in combustion.
Have you seen black smoke and smell rotten eggs lately?

Always start with small shots till you know how to inject NOS properlly.... I'd say a 50shot to start. If it becomes to easy then upgrade to higher shots..........

Nitrous Oxide: N2O (two nitrogen atoms and one oxygen).

the molecular bond breaks upon heating to 540 degrees fahrenheit, allowing the now free oxygen to add to the combustion process.

as for brain cells, not sure about that, and im not about to do any experiments.

Well in my opinion....if you intend to blow the motor anyways having fun with the NOS why do you care how much you can put through it? Why don't you just do it and tell us after "the motor blows" how much it can handle.
Man sounds like a fun experiment!
Good luck blowing it...hope it goes out with a big bang of glory!

X-T: i cant tell you which engine is better. the SR20 is good for people who like screamer engines, and the KA24 is good for people who like all motor torque monsters. i like torque so for me the KA is better, but you need to do 2 things.... try searching and understand that depending on your application, one engine will be better than the other.
