Someone please answer my question I have a ka24e engine with an auto tranny, I am wondering if you can fit the ka24e engine into a ka24de manual tranny. If no why not?

 

i have both transmissions and i cant tell the diff between the 2... both look the exact same and the shim plates fit on either motor...so im saying there is no reason why they wont interchange...now i have not tried to bolt the sohc trans up to my dohc motor but they look the same to me...

 

Trannies will bolt up either way.

Please search before asking.
