are u kidding me !? 2 inches... damn man where do u get your sportlines... it says 2.2 but everyone will tell u that isnt true... its really like 1.5-1.6 or something close to that..its not really what it says or suppose to be..ask around...

If I remember correctly, the sportlines are also lesss stiff than the pro-kit's.

yes i know that is what the company says in their product description... but ask anyone that has used any type of springs ... the product does not exactly drop you as they say... as nightslide has said himself... and many others have as well.. it takes time for it to settle in as well...

 

There are no S13 springs that only drop the car 0.5-1". The closest you are going to get is Sus Tech springs, they advertise 1.3".

Sportlines drop the car way too much for the springrate that they actually have. The soft side is barely stiffer than stock, and the hard side is not hard enough. AGX will probably be able to tolerate them somewhat, but the ride quality isn't going to be as good.

If you don't want coilovers, and you don't want to drop the car too much... then maybe you should just skip the whole springs/shocks thing and just get swaybars. They are cheaper, won't change your ride height at all, and will offer a lot of handling increase. Otherwise you are SOL on how much to lower the car without getting something height adjustable.

 

i'm looking for something similar to shine springs for VWs (if anyone knows what those are). if i can't find any, then i'll prolly get ground controls, but i hate to pay for adjustability that i won't use. duz anyone know the spring rates for the eibachs used on ground controls?
