Lets say i "dropped" somthing..

I dropped a valve cover bolt right next to the timming chain, if i can't retrieve it with a magnet, whats my next option?

also transmision won't go into reverse its an auto

P=Park
R= wont reverse
N= trys to move forward for some reason
D= fine
2=fine
1=fine

people will comment on the 2010 240 but not this, this seems like it would have a simple solution come on

it is simple.

if the bolt made it all the way to the bottom of the oil pan then there's nothing to worry about.

But if it didnt fall all the way down you're effed. Can you see it?

Also dont know about your tranny problem, but you can probably find a new tranny for super cheap with all the people who have swapped theirs out.

yeah im not worrying aout anything anymore, because im doing a ca18det or sr20det probably the ca18 because i really don't care about overall hp just 250 would be tight and a cheaper motor/tranny the better, thanks though

BTW the bolt did fall into the oil pan and i got thye KA running fine, im gonna sell it and the auto trans for cheap and get the ca and ima be very hapy
