Just get a stock open diff and weld it if you want to slide, if you seriously want an lsd then perhaps a 2way will do you good. You can definitely find more info regarding this anywhere on zilvia, just search their database

Welded diffs are great, unless you have a leaky ps then it sucks bad. If you plan on drifting it'll make it alot easier to break the rearend loose.

What kind of driving do you plan on doing? I've read that 2ways are good for drifting along with welded. 1way and 1.5 are good for auto-x.

i want to do some drifting but i want it to be streetable as well i was thinking of that kaaz 1.5 way what do you think? its only like 800 bucks or so but i don't know how much it would cost to put on. and the guy here in amarillo, told me it would cost 1300 to rebuild my stock one i have on there now. what kind of diff comes on the stock 240's. mine is a 93 240sx fastback. i think it was bought new in new mexico. 1.5's aren't good for some drifting? how streetable would a 2 way be. because there isn't much difference in the price

I had the same grinding sound on my s13 and found out for some reason after I checked my brakes that it was low on brake fluid.

i just got all four brakes done. rotors and pads and the passenger side rear caliper is messed up or something. it won't release the rotor so that passenger rear brake is constantly rubbing it smells like crap. do i need a whole new caliper or can it be fixed. i know nothing about brakes the guys at meineke said i need a whole new caliper for like 129.00 but before i let them "fix" the rear brakes the calipers were fine as far as i know it damn sure wasn't doing this.

it happens there really isnt any way they could make your caliper do that on purpose

but are they liable for it because it was working fine until they did the brake job on the back brakes. it seems to me they should of noticed this when they replaced the rotor and pads. don't they test it? they offered to put the new caliper on there for free i would just have to pay for it 129.00.

honestly its pointless to rebuild your stock diff. You can pick up a used one for $50.

If I had the choice go with a 1.5way or 2way I'd go with the 2way because you said your going to slide. I'm sure they are pretty good as a DD, but I'll ask my friend about that at Lollicup.
