I saw this at the other 240SX site with regards to what you can do if you think you'e been scammed

http://forums.********.com/zerothread?id=43462

If this doesn't hyper you to the link, it's at ********** under classifieds- Nissan classifieds-parts.

Good luck. All is not lost, but you're gonna have to do some major work. If you know people who think they've been scammed by the same person(s), group together- strength in numbers. Anyway, I hope you get your money or your goods that you bought without having to resort to the law.

i have all the information that is needed to prosecute. btw, he sent me the same email and was only concerned w/ the control number. then never answered any of my coresponding emails about the motor. i have pics of the motor, the email which contains the info on shipping, prices, and also my dilligent replies. i hope that we get this guy because this doesn't need to go on w/ any other members of this board.
what proof are the mods asking for? im more than willing to send all the info, dates of emails and responses.

If you have an address for a small fee I may be willing to go beat this guys ***, if worse comes to worse. Looks like a 4 1/2 hour trip for me. This look like the same guy ripping people off on Zilvia from Ohio State University.

hey guys, an update. so i checked my email today, and the a$$ sent me an email. here goes: btw, its in series of sent and response. 1st to last starting top to bottom:

Since im an impatient person, the money order has to be sent today w/ a conformation number on the reciept. i won't give you more than 24 hours this time. send it back today in the amount of $413 dollars, or i will prosecute you and have the Ohio state police at your door by saturday. THIS IS YOUR LAST WARNING SCAMMER. SENT IT OUT TODAY.
Ian

response:
first off you dont know where i live...lol
do you want cash?

reply:
cool, im glad you find me funny. im also glad that you think im joking about prosecuting you if you don't pay me the full amount back. no, i don't want cash, i want a certified money order. its funny that you may think that you pulled a quick one on me or something. its not that hard for the state police to find you and or your parents. in which im more than willing to contact. just send me my money order and thats it. im not (BLEEPING) around w/ you anymore.

response:
it is funny cause it is all fake id's but anyways, i really do have the engine
but i will sell it locally and not deal with shipping
so i will send you a tracking number tomorrow for the money order

my reply:
thats all i want man. just send the money and we'll go our seperate ways.
Ian

so, thats just a look at what i've had to deal w/ as of late. he's supposed to send a money order tomorrow w/ a conformation number. i don't think that'll happen. so, i guess i have alot of footwork to get started on.

the only thing you will get with violence is jail time.....but dont waste your time with the courts, pay him a visit, stop by his local police station on your way there....thats if you dont get his refund...
