Just thought I'd make a thread about my dealing with ordering a blacktop clip from Phase2. Well after 2 months of waiting and waiting I got a call monday from Kevin saying they just got their container in, 17 redtops on it, only redtops. So since I was waiting so long for my order and they're importer is giving them some problems cause they have no idea when the next container will come in he wanted to know if I would like to just take a redtop. I asked if I could know the condition of the clip before I made a decision and he said ok he'll call me from the container tomorrow. So on Tuesday Kevin called me back from the docks and said they had 2 complete very clean clips 1 with 60k mi and 1 with 30k mi. Guess which I picked. Anyway later that night Wayne calls me at like 11:30 and tells me the Visa card I was putting it on wasn't taking the order, found out the next morning it was Visa's fault , Had to put it on my Mom's Discover card which went right though in 2 seconds....lol. So after that he tells me the clip will be shipped out tomorrow (Wednesday) and should be at my door in a week. All in all I must say their service is EXCELLENT. I thought it was pretty cool Kevin let me choose the best clip on the container and how fast it was shipped out. So overall I'm happy. Just can't wait for it to be delivered.

Well I'm gonna start right away and get as much as possible done with out the hoist, cause I need to borrow one so It should all be done at the most a couple weeks. And yeah I'll be taking pics just incase anything is broke or breaks.... Even my 300Z/Maxima/240sx hybrid clutch parts won't be here till friday. I ordered it the day the damn clip went out, UPS is slow.

I lost faith in UPS the day their truck left tire marks in my driveway skidding and almost hitting my house, hit our garbage cans though. I was sleeping and it woke me up... I go out side and found like a 10 inch brake pad in my driveway. Delivery guy's a nice guy though.

 

...wow lol. The guys around here are real nice, and they drive good lol. I trust UPS..at least over fed ex.

 

if you don't mind me asking, how much was the redtop w/ shipping?

 

Clip was $2500 and shipping was $629.86 to my house in NY.
