Manufacturer Date for OBD2

I've been searching and I found one post that said the 1995 converted to obd2 after the 10/94 models were produced. Is this correct? I'm just curious because I am attempting a 95 DE swap into my 90 and the engine I've gotten was manufactured in 5/94 and it doesn't have a coil and I've gotten an ECU from a different donor car which was marked on the ECU (by the salvage yard) OBD2. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also if anyone knows of any write ups dealing with the OBD2 swap. I've read the ones of others who converted the OBD2 engine to act like an s13 dohc, but I'm looking at doing the swap as an s14 dohc obd2 swap. Thanks again.

Thanks for the link to your previous post. If I'm not mistaken though, wasn't your 91 OBD I?

Hey no problem. I appreciate you taking the time to reply. But yea, I'm looking at converting the 90 obd0 over to the obd2 primarily because I believe I have everything I need to do that except for the knowledge on wiring up the body harness and the other 2 plugs up behind the right headlight area.
