i've been in an accident that killed the only car i've loved so much. sounds funny, but when i crashed my 2000 Maxima (not my fault) i felt so down. its not that i lost what i had been paying for, which was reconciled through insurance, but lost what was mine and what i loved so much. i know exactly how you feel. not many could say that. mine pretty much looked like yours. except what you hit was an SUV, mine was 2 trees, and they were shredded. although you crashed as a mere impact. my friend (91 300zx) got ran over by a semi, my maxima lost control and mowed over 2 trees, and a co-worker's altima hit a wall (all within a week). [it was a bad time for Nissan] but after those accidents, it took me almost a month to be comfortable with my driving limits, since i was kinda shook up about losing control, and about my friend. * side note here: this friend was born exactly an hour earlier than me, and crashed his nissan exactly an hour before me. freaking freaky*

but my point is, after even a small accident that ruins something so big in your life (and im speaking of cars here) it takes a long time to get comfortable driving another car that you love, or look at the damage pics. i was so pissed after looking at them, i deleted them after ins. $ was collected. i wished i saved those

It kills me inside seeing posts of S14s that get hit, are completely repairable, and instead fine folks such as yourself completely scrap them. Just fix it... Its banged up, but its not totalled. Get it fixed. Save an S14. Too many 240s go to waste already.

Bart is absolutely right man. S14s are so much more limited than S13s
At least keep it in your backyard, repair it, strip it, and make it a track attack car
