Can somebody measure the length of their oil dip stick for me? I did an oil change yesterday and the damn thing took 5 quarts of oil and still didn't even register on the dipstick. I can't figure it out, and the only thing I can think of is that the car somehow has the wrong dip stick in it.

lol thanks dude. I have the right dipstick.... wtf? When I put it in all I get is residue. Maybe I'm just used to the way good old fashioned dino oil makes a ring around the stick.

 

i agree with everything you said except about stig. i'd love to he how dangerous he is in person. no disrespect but the guy thinks he's a power ranger, too bad we're on opposite ends of the u.s.

 

Try cleaning the dipstick with brake cleaner and some really fine (800 grit or better) sandpaper... the oil will stick to it like molasses.

 

Dude, did you not remember how fast power rangers can travel? When they teleport, its like... SHIZZZAM!!! and BAM! theyre right in front of you. No joke man... the TV series just makes them teleport slower so you can see where theyre going...

Besides, Dave isnt a power ranger... we all know that... he is a self proclaimed MIB... He pulled that on me one night outside a bar... it went something like...:
