need help with my 240.. any suggestions plz?

I recently got into a pretty bad accident with my '91 240sx. The other vehicle hit me in the wheel located in the front right side of my car. I had really bad frame damage and currently am trying to fix it. As a result of the frame damage above that side of the wheel... i cannot get a wheel allignment done on my car. I know that there are special tools out there that can be used to repair this. The car is supposed to be at about -1.37 degrees and mine is at -3 degress. If anyone has any knowledge concerning this please make a suggestion .. i love my 240 and im dying to get it fixed. Thanx.

if your frame is damaged their is no reason to hold on to it if you drift or race. Your car loses its integrity as far as if you f-up your frame. That point where its f-d up will be weak and most people wont even touch the car to fix it if the integrity of the frame is damaged. That sucks man, but i'd say, dont pull a terry shiavo on her and keep her on life support, do the right thing and move on.

If you need your frame straightened or something along those lines there are some shops that can do that for you. Once you get your frame straightened you might need to replace some parts like a TC rod or other good stuff like to set everything right. If you have any pictures those would help. and If you haven't already you should use the search button because there might be some older threads with some similar topics.

or you could do what aav240sx said.
It could be in the pain in the @$$ as far as cash goes. But if you still want it just to have a 240 thats cool but be careful with prices, it could cast a pretty penny! Let us know how it goes! =D

I don't drift or race ...
The car was a daily driver for me, to get from point A to B.
The car was hit in the top right, quarter panel -
Causing the wheel to cave-in to an extent ...
Which caused some chassis damage...
I love my car and wouldn't want it to be scraped ...
Do you guys think it would be possible to do a chassis swap from one 240SX to another?
I have a 240SX LE, it has leather and all the other goodies ...
It's difficult to find an LE, and I truely wouldn't be able to put mine in the junk-yard.
Tell me what you guys, think ...
Also, I might like to add that I'm not a "man".

If you can find me a 240SX LE - Leather/Sunroof etc ...
For a good price with good mileage ...
Then we'll talk about not fixing my car.

finding a 240 in a decent / good condition is hard ..
i've looked at so many before i purchased mine..
and trust me the majority of them look like trash... have high mileages.. etc.
They are pretty damn rare .. and my car is good throughout.. only 90k miles on it .. mechanically its great, thankfully. My only dillema is the body.

I'd say if it's your only car and you just use it as a daily thats cool. But if you ever sell it or whatever, that will always be their. Salvage title right? Insurance?
